Words cannot express the agony I feel as the fellow playing this game time and time again succumbs to death. Yet, I must laugh. The invisible coin block is just too much. The player was lining up to jump and then when he finally gets some air — BLAMMO! — he meets his fate.
I give him props, though, for sheer tenacity and stubbornness. If it was me, I'd just shut the damn thing off and move on to something else.

Wow, I had to stop it and do some thing else several times because I became so fushtrated just watching it. This has to be one of the most collected guys in the world not to get total peeved at this. If this was me I would have chocked the control across the room LONG ago.

hm, I think the player missed a shortcut in the middle of 1-1. There's a mushroom near the top, and a ceiling tile that's breakable.
Sad.. The trick to this world is at the point where you get the second mushroom you bust open the top wait for a bullit and pop off it to the top level. then you just run across to the end...

good gravy, i wanted to peel the skin off my own skull out of frustration for this poor sod. the worst part is, that after 23 minutes, the player doesn't even make it to the halfway mark of 1-2.
if you're going to be this thoroughly evil, and devise such a carefully calculated rear-end invasion like this mod, and then record someone making every effort to get through it, at least give both the player and those of us watching it the satisfaction and closure of the player completing the level they're working on.
although, i truly can't blame the player for not continuing on till the end of 1-2. heaven knows i would have fashioned a noose out of the controller cord and strangled whoever made the mod.
now, despite what i've already said, i'm not religious in the least, but i truly believe this is EXACTLY what hell must be like. except, with more herpes-like burning.

the start of level 1-2 is definatly the funniest..it had me in tears..if i was the one playing id actually be hitting myself on the head with frustration..that game would also no longer exist.

Ok for all the people who keep trying to claim he could have broken the block and ran along the top in world 1-1, he couldn't have, he wouldn't have been able to get down because the flag is there. Also, it's a mod, like someone else said, it's all about seeing skills. The mod was made by someone in Taiwan and was posted on tuduo.com without the commentary which was added later on (see the original source of the vid w/ commentary on Google Video). So unless someone tracks down the person who originally created it, I doubt we'll ever see the mod, it's not from a site, it's from their personal collection. Bummer cause I really want to attempt this mod, it's too funny! "It [censored] hit my [censored] baby toe!"

someone really needs to make this for New Super Mario Bros (for the DS), for better graphics, and a progress meter. so you know how far into inferno you are, and how far there is left.
