Memo to all those Japanophiles out there: not everything needs a manga makeover. Lucy was just fine as a flat-chested prepubescent fussbudget. Linus was better holding his blanket instead of discreetly letting it hang out of his back pocket. And above all, Charlie Brown should never make a cameo in Dragon Ball Z.
This is wrong. Actually, let me use stronger language. This is an abominable blight. It must be stopped. We must stop the further conversion of our most beloved cartoons into manga.
Although, if I could recommend one Western cartoon that deserves the manga treatment, it would be Pokemon. I don't know why nobody has tried that yet.

It doesnt matter, so stop freaking out about it. It is just fanart, and last time I checked there wasn't a law about drawing something in manga style and posting it on the internet. And please get your facts straight, Pokemon IS japanese anime, american companys brought it over from Japan. And anime is a GREAT thing, please dont think that anime is some stupid tv cartoon with out a VALID reason. God, you people are so close minded. Whats wrong with japanese culture? NOTHING, but I sure as hell can tell you a couple dozen things about whats wrong with American culture.

hmmm... i think that there is nothing wrong with anime style, but i see what the original poster is saying. i used to watch snoopy and read the comix, and must say that to see the manga in comic/movie form would just be stupid. looking at t eh drawing i think it is cool as hall and even brought out a giggle. in the end linus was linus because of his blankee dependancy, not just because he carried a blanket in his pocket. C.B. was a reject, and to put him in stylized clothes with a good physique conquers that. good picture however, but lacks the personalities of the original
I actually like it. Yes I agree that doing this sort of thing to our toons isn't too appealing to many. However this does personally bring a chuckle and smile to my face, especially Charlie's expression.
I like the Peanuts, and I also like anime and manga. The illustrator was just creating some fun and whimsical fan art. Nothing wrong with that.
