As you can see here, 71-year-old Zhang Decaux is using his ear to illuminate a light bulb. His gifts go beyond that. He can also cook a fish with his bare hands in under two minutes. And when he's not doing those mundane things, he's administrating shock therapy to patients of heart lumbar hyperplasia.
According to Zhang, he discovered his abilities when he was 47-years-old. He touched a live wire. Instead of getting shocked, he felt nothing. After trying this again, he quickly realized he could conduct electricity.
This seems like a tale from the X Files. All we need is to add to the plot is a tragic romance, a jealous colleague, and a misunderstanding public who is ready to accuse him of being a monster. This being China, though, it seems people are content to use him for medicinal purposes.
