Well, the little person has a point. He's just trying to make a living, the tourists love him, and going to jail sucks. I don't blame him for running from the cop.
Frankly, I'm glad the cop did the right thing and realized this guy doesn't belong in jail. From what I gather, it's hard to find opportunities if one is a little person. Like I said in the past, little people have every right to use their unique physicality to get themselves ahead. So my thumbs up to this cop for having a heart, doing the right thing, and trying to find this fellow some employment.
If only every cop I met was like this one. Not that I blame cops for going surly. It is a tough world out there. Still, I get the sense from some officers that they are in it for the power trip. In any sense, I'm glad this situation came out favourable.
