Colour-Coordinated Bookshelf

Next time you are locked in a library but don't want to read books, here's a something to try: arrange each book according to colour. Then, once you ingest some hallucinogens, you can taste the reading rainbow. You can be like Geordie LaForge — only you will be able to see!

Imagine what adventures will unfold! You will see the tales of fairies and spacemen and vampires!

You, my friend, are a genius. I'm going to try this out and take some psychotropic drugs, to, yah know, chill me out.

Nice!

I used to organize my CDs like this. I was too sloppy (read: often drunk) to alphabetize them and I realized the only way I could find them was by the colour of the spine. Worked like a charm.

Adobe Books in San Francisco did this to their entire store last year. Beats the Dewey Decimal!!

Adobe Books! THAT is the name of that bookstore with the color-coded shelves. I went there when I first moved here two years ago and it was amazingly fun to browse the store with that setup.
