Most Racist Ad Ever

First of all, how did a bunch of racists raise enough money to create this pathetic ad? Yes, I said this ad is pathetic. A whole bunch of white people may be smiling and cuddling children in this ad, but you know they're itching to burn down some crosses. The music may be silky smooth, and the voiceover may be calming, yet I know they are absolutely chomping at the bit to blow a Black person's face off if they could.

National Vanguard
have successfully created the most racist advertisement ever. Who the hell gives them the right to speak for "White" America? I know I don't need their faux "news" to tell me how to think. Life is good for me. I go to work. I come home. I make friends. Some of those friends are not "white". Do note the quotation marks are not by accident, as I cannot think of any more retarded reason to hate someone than skin pigment.

Regardless, if you need any evidence on the moral and intellectual ineptitude of American racism, watch this ad. I, for one, hope this was never broadcast on any television stations. If it was, do the right thing and make a complaint.

I agree. People who divide themselves (and others) by skin color are racist by definition. It's sad that we're not moving past this as a culture.

Oh wow. it's a sad state of affairs. creating nostalgia and using that sentiment to justify that diversity is destroying "the american dream". Remember that nationalities like Italians, Irish and eastern european citizens used to be looked at as "cramping" the american lifestyle, so I don't know why they have resort to drawing boundaries among people who would like to be called "Americans".

Creepy, creepy ad.

"I cannot think of any more retarded reason to hate someone than skin pigment"

You're not thinking hard enough. How about religion? My imaginary friend is better than your imaginary friend, let's kill each other.

If a religion believes in cannibalism or human sacrifice, for instance, that is a genuinely good reason to hate a religion. So yes, I believe skin pigmentation trumps religion any day.

Just for the sake of argument, how is this any different than a commercial offering "Latino news, all the time"? Living in San Diego, I see those everywhere.

To anonymous: listen to the opening tagline. "There's a growing feeling in White America that something is missing. What happened to us?" Indeed, what is this ad implying? You can find out, of course, by visiting National Vanguard and it quickly becomes apparent that what is "missing" are some lynchings, cross burnings, and more xenophobia. National Vanguard makes no bones about the fact they are Holocaust Revisionists, Eugenecists, and outright White Supremacists.

So what is the difference between your comparison to "Latino News" in San Diego? Well, if this Latino News was advocating eugenics, I would agree there would be no difference. I doubt that is happening, though.

I don't think it's any more racist than a business marketing towards blacks or jews. Why are white people the only people that are supposed to be ashamed of their race, rather than proud of it?

I already answered that question two minutes ago.

Why are white people the only people that are supposed to be ashamed of their race, rather than proud of it?

No one says they are. White people celebrate their race all the time. There is St. Patrick's Day, Oktoberfest, Mardi Gras, etc. But wait, you probably weren't referring to the Irish race, the German race, or the Cajun race. You were probably referring to some abstract nationality known as the White race that didn't exist at all as a concept until Colonialism.

So there you have it. Europeans with white pigmentation are very proud of their race. They parade this pride every St. Patrick's Day and they do not feel any need, while they are doing it, to vilify other races.

Excuse me, M.Trottier, but i don't undestant one thing.

Why did you correlate white supremacism whith festive events like Oktoberfest or Mardi Gras or St. Patrick's Day? I mean in Japan, japanese people enjoys the St Patrick....

So don't you are, in fact, making racists an inappropriates statements against white people?

Inappropriate statements can lead to misleading conclusions.

I don't. I point to these events as examples where Europeans can celebrate their heritage in a healthy way. I'm sure you'd like me to correlate these events with White Supremacism, though.

I agree.
The way this ad is worded is very racists. "White Americans".

Seems like a clan meeting of sorts.
But, if it was worded "Anglo Americans" it would be ok.

I know, i know.. i might seem like a moron but hear me out.

African Americans have their events that celebrate their heritage.

Hispanics have festivals, latin grammys, etc..

I think this is sort of something for the people who are white in america.

Its just the way they worded kind of got to me. And yes, I agree, racism in this country is subsiding, but there are still a few ignorant uneducated people.

Im hispanic btw.

Christopher Trottier said...

Vic: Take a look at National Vanguard's Wikipedia entry and tell me this is merely a bunch of "Whites" celebrating their heritage.

Well if the goal was to drive traffic to their website, it worked. I had to go check it out.

There are numerous things in the media out there geared toward people of all races and cultural backgrounds.

Sounds they tried to say "white american" as many times as possible in a 30s frame. Creepy ad...

Thanks for your link btw :-)

Racism is inevitable in multi cultural societies, and is a direct result of government encouragement of mass immigration of people from different cultural backgrounds.

As you probably realize, "White" here does not refer specifically to pigmentation, but to a cultural grounding in the traditional America, up to the 1960's or so. In the same way that "Black" tends to refer to the cultural background of those descended from American African slaves, and does not speak to recent Caribbean immigrants for example.

With respect to South California, there is massive racism on the part of the Latino community towards the previous inhabitants. I don't know about eugenics exactly, but I have certainly heard triumphant interviews on the radio with Mecha types heralding the take back of CA for la Raza, which is Ethnic Cleansing if nothing else.

NV turned out to be an interesting site. I bookmarked it for further study. A tip 'o the hat.

“Can you cite one speck of hard evidence of the benefits of ‘diversity’ that we have heard gushed about for years? Evidence of its harm can be seen — written in blood — from Iraq to India, from Serbia to Sudan, from Fiji to the Philippines. It is scary how easily so many people can be brainwashed by sheer repetition of a word.” - Thomas Sowell writing for the Jewish World Review August 29, 2006

That ad is really racist, but if it had black people, would everyone be as mad? I think that's the real racism.

Anonymous said...

I quite like it. And seperating by race is all that matters. REligion is beliefs. Race is where you came from. Your heritage. Race is so much more than skin color. So sad these comments.

Anonymous said...

The only thing that is pathetic is your brainwashed, liberal-left ignorance towards this commercial.

White people, of which you are one I see, should have the same rights to their own lands, customs, and lifestyles, as should all races and religions.

Double standards like affirmative action and imposed diversity cause racism today.

There is nothing in that commercial which arouses contempt towards any other race. The perceived 'creepiness' as all in your mind.

Go look for a skinhead or KKK ad and then use your thought police-style mentality to complain.

Well it just happens to be one hell of a coincidence that where there's only white people you'll see a peaceful lovely neighborhood, and where there's no white people (just saying no white people here) you have a living hell with a fucking mountain high crime rate that's just going up and up.

if it was all black will you say they are racist?BET plays music by black people.are they not racist?

Racism only refers to hatered and the idea of one race superior to another, no where is it recognized that sepratism is racist. it means we just look after our own. the protection and advancement of our own people does in no way refer to hate. This add just says lets come together as whites. just like the Blacks, Asians and mixed races do without critisism. and as for colour only being skin deep. its the Gnome that makes us different, we whites are not of the same race as blacks or Asians because our genetics makes it so. and you can argue about that all you want but at the end of the day the fact will remain.
